Ulf Dufwenberg (from Sweden) is currently blogging on ihavesynth.com. He has been into synthesizers since he stopped playing with G.I Joe figures, but has always been more interested in playing them than taking them apart and reparing/modding them.
He has been a member of the band Velours Perfect for about ten years, a band that has never been too serious about their music. Mainly because they become absurdly nervous when playing live. Nevertheless, they released the record King Size Brothers in 2007.
In Ulfs synth collection you wont find any 70's vintage classics, since he feels that vintage synths today has become too much of expensive trophies. Because of this, and being cheap and rather poor, Ulf has mostly VA synths in his studio.
Today, he is involved in building ihavesynth.com, a community about synthesizers for synth lovers. Here, users can contribute with reviews, discuss synths in forums and much more. It is currently in beta stage, but growing every day. Ulf explains the Ihavesynth idea in this interview .
